Issues, conflicts, problems; these are bound to come around. But what makes them last so long? why does a little issue end up becoming too big to handle? When did we become unable to solve our own little problems? Questions that run through my mind...
A lot of times when we have issues we start to focus on "who's fault is it?" "who can i blame for this?" and even when we find courage to blame ourselves, is that really all? Finding out who to blame is not half as relevant as finding out the root of the issue, how it came about and why.
When we shift blames all we do is diminish our mind's ability to work towards finding solutions. We toss blames here and there and thus turn our brains lazy from even thinking about a practical way out.
The problem scarcely ever gets solved simply by finding out who caused it. If a chair is broken for instance, finding out who broke it does not get it automatically repaired; it does not make your work any easier if your aim is to see it repaired. But when your question is how? why? rather than who? then you start getting ideas on how to fix it.
The same applies to everything else, our relationships with others (spouse, family, friends, etc), our work, the society at large; before we start asking about 'who', lets try asking 'what' 'why' and 'how' and see how much difference that makes on the issues we may have.
